What is Face-to-Face English Coaching?
Coaching started out as an interaction between two people. The word “coach” in English refers to the vehicle which transports a person to a new place. So, in this sense, a coach is the person who accompanies you to move from where you are now to where you really want to be.
English coaching is an active and collective process where we set achievable goals specifically related to your contexts for communicating in English. Your questions, needs and interests are what direct your learning. Through this journey of responding to your own questions and needs, a change takes place that allows you to interact more easily, fluently and confidently in English.
Three ways to participate in Face-to-Face English Coaching
Individual sessions focus on your needs, interests and objectives in gaining more fluency and confidence in your specific contexts in English.
Sessions last between 1.5 and 2 hours and can take place weekly, biweekly or monthly. You can also request one-off sessions which prepare you for a specific event or work interview. A series of sessions can last a month, a trimester or the whole year.
Working together as a group in on-going coaching sessions opens up a space where participants with similar needs and interests interact in English to develop a clearer and more fluent voice in English.
Group sessions are composed of 2-8 participants. Sessions last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours and are given weekly, biweekly or monthly. A series of sessions can take place over the course of a trimester or the whole year.
Seminars prepare all participant in the group to present their ideas clearly and confidently in English.
The groups are composed of 4-8 participants. The participants define the content of the seminar according to their needs and interests. A seminar can last between 4 to 6 hours and can be combined into a series of seminars that can take place over a month, a trimester or the whole year.
